A school close to his heart

The memorial lecture was held at Karambi Secondary School on 11 November 2023. Paddy was a founder member of the school, and his own CV describes the community’s continuing investment in its development.

The programme centred on a focused life, informed career choices and making a positive contribution to Kasese and Uganda. It brought his belief in education to a new generation.

A computer laboratory launched

The event included the launch of a computer laboratory. Its dedication plaque honours Paddy’s legacy as a founder of Karambi and records its unveiling by Hon. Godfrey Kabyanga on 11 November 2023.

The words on the plaque, “Empowering Generations Through Education”, link the memorial to opportunity for students.

Supporting the school soccer team

A school soccer team jersey was presented during the occasion. The event photographs preserve the kit and its presentation alongside the lecture celebrations.

The gesture echoes Paddy’s own interest in sport: his CV records that he promoted boxing and soccer at the enterprises he led.
